Why I showed it
I told a story. That’s cool, right?
I spent so much time inside this little thing I built — the music, the characters, the artwork, all of it — that I stopped knowing whether I had made something real or was just high on my own fumes again.
That feeling can move in both directions. One minute I can see the whole universe clearly. Five minutes later I can convince myself it’s embarrassing and nobody should ever see it.
What I know is that I made a body of work with its own identity. The songs talk to each other. The visual rules repeat without making every piece identical. I kept asking whether something belonged because, eventually, there really was a thing for it to belong to.
It doesn’t have to become enormous to matter. Maybe one person gets here, looks around, listens, and says, “Wait. This is kinda fucking cool. What is this?” That’s a real outcome. That’s enough to let the work exist outside of me.
I had a story to tell, and I just happened to be legit good at lyrics and shit.
